Tizen is an emerging open source platform for smartphones and other devices created by the Tizen Association, an industry consortium supporting the development of the Tizen platform. Mobica provides connected device solutions to technology companies in the smartphone and automotive industry and is a member of the Tizen Association Partner Program. Mobica is also a member of the GENIVI Alliance, which RealVNC recently joined.
RealVNC has been working with Mobica to port its MirrorLink Certified VNC Automotive SDK onto Tizen IVI, expanding the range of platforms the solution supports. VNC Automotive allows safe and secure access and control of a mobile device from a vehicle head unit or infotainment system.
